Helen

Spartan princess, wife of Menelaus. Helen's elopement with (or abduction by) Paris caused the Trojan War. She was memorialized in a famous phrase of the poet Marlowe as the face that launched a thousand ships. When still a child, she was abducted by Theseus and rescued by her brothers, the Dioscuri.
